Born in San Donà di Piave (VE) on 27 January 1959, he is a confirmed Associate Professor, SSD
E05A (former BIO / 10-Biochemistry), of the University of Padua. It belongs to the
Department of Biomedical Sciences of the University of Padua, and works at the Centro di
Interdepartmental Research of Innovative Biotechnologies (CRIBI) of the same University.
He resides in Padua,

1979 Diploma of Agricultural Expert with Specialization in Viticulture and Enology at
the "G.B. Cerletti ”of Conegliano Veneto (TV).
1983 Degree in Biological Sciences at the Faculty of Sciences MM.FF.NN.
of the University of Padua, with an experimental thesis entitled "Polymorphism of the
human aortic collagen during age ", carried out at the Institute of Histology ed
Embryology of the University of Padua. Speaker: Prof. C. Milanesi; Co-rapporteur:

1984-1985 Interior at the Institute of Histology and Embryology for the attainment of
diploma for the exercise of the profession. In this period he continued
research on the extracellular matrix, under the direction of Prof. S. Garbisa.
