Proposals for thesis
I temi proposti sono di carattere generale; per ulteriori specifiche e contestualizzazione del tema di tesi contattare per email.
- Modellazione accoppiata multiscala di geomateriali (terreni, calcestruzzi) saturi, parzialmente saturi, in domini bi- e tri-dimensionali, in non-linearità per materiale/geometria e assoggettati ad azioni termiche, chimiche o radioattive (uitlizzo di codici di calcolo di ricerca FE in fortran90; è richiesta una conoscenza, anche di base, di programmazione numerica);
- Modellazione non lineare (per materiale, geometria e/o cambiamento di stato) di elementi e strutture in acciaio, assoggettati ad azioni statiche/dinamiche/termiche (utilizzo dei codici commerciali ABAQUS/ANSYS, con possibile richiesta di upgrade attraverso l'inserimento di specifiche subroutine)

Gli argomenti trattati, in via generale, spaziano dai metodi numerici applicati a problemi strutturali (algoritmi di integrazione temporale entro codici di calcolo numerico), a problemi non-lineari (non-linearità dei materiali, processi termo-meccanici, comportamento meccanico di mezzi porosi saturi e non saturi, termo-elastici e termo-elasto-plastici includenti o meno la fase gassosa, localizzazione delle deformazioni, modelli di calcestruzzi monofase e multifase a bassa e ad alta temperatura, analisi termo-meccanica di geo-strutture, non-linearità geometrica), a studi statici e dinamici di corpi tridimensionali e di strutture di materiale elastico ed elasto-plastico, con contatto unilaterale (problemi accoppiati e dinamici).
