RESEARCH TOPICS FOR PhD STUDENTS:
- Leadership in groups and organizations (with a particular interest in Destructive-Constructive Leadership, Servant Leadership and Empowering Leadership).
- The interplay between leadership behavior, perceived organizational support, trust and indicators of psycho-social well-being/distress in organizational settings.
- Construction and validation of measurement instruments and research methodology in social and applied psychology.
- Individual/personality variables related to prejudice and discrimination, such as Authoritarianism and Social Dominance Orientation.

Curriculum Vitae
He obtained the MS in Work and Organizational Psychology, a post-graduate specialization degree in Psychological Testing and the Ph.D. in Personality and Social Psychology at the University of Padova. Moreover, he obtained a post-graduate specialization degree in Human Resources Management at the University of Castellanza. Appointed as Assistant Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Padova, Department of Philosophy, Sociology, Education and Applied Psychology (FISPPA) in 2011, he has been, since 2015, Associate Professor. As Adjunct Professor, he taught Social Psychology (2005-2008), Advanced Research Methodology in Social Psychology (2008) and Psychological Testing (2011) at the University of Padua. Since 2012 he has been teaching Social Psychology and Basic Computer Skills at the University of Padova. He spent short periods as Visiting Researcher at the University of Rotterdam (NL) and at the University of Bergen (NO).
He is a Faculty member of the PhD Course in Psychological Sciences at the University of Padova.
He is a member of the Editorial Board of ‘Social Psychology’ (Il Mulino, Bologna).
He serves as ‘ad hoc’ reviewer for national and international academic journals, e.g.: European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology; International Journal of Nursing Studies; Journal of Applied Social Psychology; Journal of Community & Applied Social Psychology; Journal of Economic Psychology; Leadership; Psicologia Sociale; Ricerche di Psicologia; Bollettino di Psicologia Applicata; The International Journal of Human Resource Management; TPM – Testing, Psychometrics, Methodology in Applied Psychology.
He is full member of AIP, the Italian Association of Psychology. His research interests are (a) innovative theories of leadership in groups and organizations (e.g., destructive-constructive leadership, servant leadership), (b) the interplay between perceived organizational support, trust and indicators of psychosocial well-being within organizational contexts, with a particular interest for the healthcare sector, and (c) validation and construction of measurement instruments and research methodology in social and applied psychology.
