Proposals for thesis
-Analisi della patologia ossea nella malattia di Gaucher di tipo I (Sfingolipidosi)mediante impiego di modelli in vitro e di zebrafish
- Analisi della patologia ossea nella Sindrome di Hunter (Mucopolisaccaridosi di tipo II) mediante impiego di modelli in vitro, murini e di zebrafish
-Analisi della patologia cardiaca nella Sindrome di Hunter (Mucopolisaccaridosi di tipo II) mediante impiego di modelli murini e di zebrafish
- Identificazione di pathways molecolari coinvolte nei processi neurodegenerativi in modello di zebrafish per la malattia di Parkinson.
- Analisi di nuove molecole ad azione antiossidante e neurotrofica per la terapia di processi neurodegenrativi mediante impiego del modello zebrafish

December 2001 : PhD in Endocrine Sciences at the University of Ferrara (Italy).

March 2011-2017: Assistant Professor at the Department of Molecular Medicine, University of Padova (Italy).

October 2017-present: Associate Professor at the Department of Molecular Medicine, University of Padova (Italy).

Working experiences in International Institutes:

- 2002-2003: Research Fellow, Dr. Shlomo Melmed Laboratory, Department of Endocrinology, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles (USA)
- 2006: Post-Doctoral training in” Transcriptomics and Proteomics in Zebrafish”, Leiden (Holland).

Author of 56 peer-reviewed international papers and more than 50 abstracts in national and international meetings.

Co-editor of two issues of the Journal of Endocrinological Investigation (2000).
Invited Speaker in more than 15 national and international meetings. Cotutor and tutor for students of the Molecular Biology and Biotechnology courses.
