Proposals for thesis
- Analysis of skeletal and CNS defects in type 1 Gaucher disease, by in vitro and in vivo models
- Analysis of skeletal, cardiac and CNS defects in type II Mucopolysaccharidosis by in vitro and in vivo models.
- Analysis of pathogenic cascades involved in neurodegenerative disorders (Parkinson)
- Development of small molecules with neurotrophic and antioxidant activities

December 2001 : PhD in Endocrine Sciences at the University of Ferrara (Italy).

March 2011-2017: Assistant Professor at the Department of Molecular Medicine, University of Padova (Italy).

October 2017-present: Associate Professor at the Department of Molecular Medicine, University of Padova (Italy).

- 2002-2003: Research Fellow, Dr. Shlomo Melmed Laboratory, Department of Endocrinology, Cedars Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles (USA)
- 2006: Post-Doctoral training in” Transcriptomics and Proteomics in Zebrafish”, Leiden (Holland).

Author of 58 peer-reviewed international papers and more than 50 abstracts in national and international meetings.

Co-editor of two issues of the Journal of Endocrinological Investigation (2000).
Invited Speaker in more than 15 national and international meetings. Cotutor and tutor for students of the Molecular Biology and Biotechnology courses.
