PHD SCHOOL:

Research lines, with some of the specific issues proposed for PhD students:

1. Integration between psychodynamic approach and neurosciences

The aim of this line of researach is the observations of the neural
correlates of psychodynamic concepts (e.g. defense mechanism, or clinical alliance) in line with neuropsychonalitic framework

2. Relation in clinical settings

The aim of this line of researach is the investigation on dyadic processess and microprocesses during psychodynamic-oriented psychotherapies. Consistantly with point 1, psychophysiological processes simoultaneusly and continously collected along session are object of investigation as well, in order to disentangle psychosomatic underpinnings of dyadic phenomena occurring during treatment (e.g. therapeutic attunement).
