Research areas
Biochemistry and Computational Chemistry in different research topic:

1. Mechanicistic aspects of ferroptosis, a recently recognized form of regulated cell death; development/identification of novel molecules/natural compounds able to target this phenomena, with potential application in Cancer and Neurodegeneration
2. Identification of alternative strategies for CFTR repair, focusing in particular on the mutation (F508del) of the Transmembrane Conductance Regulator (CFTR), representing the most common cause of Cystic Fibrosis.
3. Development of novel approaches for the treatment of rare diseases, exploiting the modulation of specific kinase activities
