Notes: The course begins with a Kick-Off Seminar (KOS) of 3-4 days that provides an orientation to the program. The attendance is compulsory.
In details the KOS includes: the presentation of the degree course, the introduction of the disciplinary areas, a fieldtrip in Padua and/or Veneto region with the objective to acquire local/regional knowledge of urban/rural-mountain issues related to sustainable development; a key lecture held by an eminent foreign scholar.
A meeting is dedicated to the various academic tools (Uniweb, Moodle, online consultation and book loans, Erasmus, internship, thesis,…).
During the KOS is also organized a World Cafè entitled "Meet your future" with the participation of social partners, representatives of institutions, NGOs as well as former students of the degree course who share with the students their work and professional experience in Italy and abroad.
Participants' signatures will be collected twice a day (am - pm). The 65% of the overall presence at KOS entitles students to 1 CFU.
The KOS takes place in the week from 23rd to 27th September 2019.

In case of non-attendance at the KOS the student will have to choose an article among those present in the Moodle page of the course and write a short critical report to be delivered within the first year's winter examination session.
