1. Understand the process of organizational change as led by an OD practitioner
2. Define consultants and clients
3. Identify values and ethics that guide OD practitioners
4. Apply OD principles and concepts to specified case studies and organizational inquiry
5. Enhance knowledge of academic English and OD terminology
Examination methods: Attending students
The distribution of the total score 30/30 will be as follows:
• Glossary of OD vocabulary (LO 5); Group case study analysis and presentation (LO 1, 2, 3, 4); Creation of interview protocol with local organization (LO 4, 5); Conduction of interview, reflection, data analysis, and presentation (LO 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) (mandatory for attending and non-attending students as well) 10/30
• Scholarly Text Discussion Circles Role Preparation and In-Class Engagement (LO 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) 10/30
• Written exam with multiple choice and open-ended questions (LO 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) 10/30

Non-Attending students

Assessment criteria: Online assignment assessment criteria (both attending and non-attending students):
Glossary of OD vocabulary (individual assignment)
• Identification of OD terminology (at least 8 terms per chapter assigned)
• Appropriate written definitions in English
• Identification of Italian translation of term
Group case study analysis and presentation (Group assignment)
• Thoughtful analysis of case study data
• Sharing learning and analysis with group in wiki
• Appropriateness of case study analysis and solution, with evidence and connection to theory and practice provided in the textbook, provided
• Presentation of analysis and solution is clear and professional (5-8 slides)
Interview protocol development (Pair assignment)
• Thoughtful development of interview protocol focused on inquiry of organizational change and development
Interview conduction, interview reflection and analysis (Pair assignment)
• Conduction of interview with local organization leader about organizational change and development
• Presentation of reflection and data analysis is clear and professional (5-8 slides)
