Syllabus
Prerequisites: This course is taught in Paris (France) – It is reserved for students enrolled in the International Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in “Techniques, Patrimoine, Territoires de l’Industrie" (TPTI)
Target skills and knowledge: A critical vision about the nexus between environment and technology
Examination methods: Examination methods:
The exam takes the form of continuous assessment during the seminars, with a final report. Further information is available on the website of the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
Assessment criteria: Both the participation and the final work will be used for the evaluation
Course unit contents: This course allows to acquire specific expertise on the study and analysis of the physical environments in which a technique was used and the skills to shed light on the cultural, economic and social practices of techniques, in order to take part in debates concerning the city, its current and future challenges.
