Course unit organization

Notes: The final exam consists in presenting and discussing an original research thesis developed under the scientific supervision of a professor during a six-month internship. Students are guaranteed the opportunity to carry out the master thesis within research groups active at the Department of Physics and Astronomy "G. Galilei", in other structures of the University of Padova, in public or private research institutions, such as National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF), the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN), as well as spending an internship in companies, industries or other external bodies on the basis of specific agreements.
Both the writing of the thesis and the final oral presentation will be held in English. The discussion will take place in front of a commission appointed by the Director of the Department of Physics and Astronomy "G. Galilei".
