Target skills and knowledge:

Expected knowledge and abilities
- acquisition of in-depth and updated knowledge on the course contents: psychology as science, sensory processes, perception, consciousness, learning, memory, thought and language, motivation, emotion;
- reflection on psychological functioning and critically analyze alternative theoretical explanations;
- comprehension of the central contents of the course and creation of connections with the contents of other courses;
- ability to describe the contents in an appropriate manner and with the use of technical language;
- building of the basic knowledge that will allow further study in subsequent courses. |
Examination methods:

The exam is written and consists of 6 open questions, 3 for each module, with a total time available of 60 minutes. |
Assessment criteria:
|
Answers are expected to be systematic, complete and addressing the salient and relevant aspects.
Each question is rated from 0 to 5 points. The exam is sufficient when each module is evaluated at least 9. In the latter case the sum constitutes the final grade. An evaluation of 30 cum laude is attributed when the score is 30 and the answers have high consistency and originality. |
