Prerequisites: The contents of this course include knowledge of Social Work Psychology and Organizations.
Target skills and knowledge: During the training course great attention will be paid to the analysis of needs, the planning and management of guidance interventions, the definition of the professional objective with measurement of the relative level of employability, the outplacement models and tools that are used to support the professional transition , to the development methods of the skills assessment aimed at the construction of the professional project.
The student will develop different skills in knowing how to spend the knowledge learned, formulate and adequately apply the phases of the processes of an Outplacement course, communicate clearly and effectively, using specific terminologies of the sector's own subject both with specialist and non-specialist interlocutors.
At the end of the course the student must have acquired the basic knowledge and be able to investigate independently what they have learned, so as to have independent judgment for their professional future.
Examination methods: The exam will take place in written form. The student will answer four open questions in an hour and a half. The questions will focus on the main topics analyzed by the course; the treatment of a theory (eg content theories, process theories) may be required, to report the main contributions of an Author, to describe specific areas of analysis and intervention of Outplacement.
Assessment criteria: The assessment of the student's preparation will be based on an understanding of the topics covered during the course, on the acquisition of the concepts, principles, proposed methodologies and on the ability to apply them independently and consciously. The student's argumentative skills will also be taken into account.
Course unit contents: The Outplacement course is divided into teaching modules and addresses the following topics:

- The relationship between man, work and organization
- Work: motivation, meaning, transformations, satisfaction
- Organizations
- Socialization at work
- Unemployment
- The Outplacement
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: The teaching methodology includes:

- lectures with active participation of the group;
- simulations;
- individual and group exercises;
- testimonials;
- case studies;
- individual and guided study activities
