Syllabus
Prerequisites: Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, evaluation of the locomotor system, orthopedic and rheumatological clinic
Target skills and knowledge: Know and use the appropriate assessment tools for pathological conditions of the patient in relation to the area of ​​the osteo-muscular-articular disorders
Practice in a simulated manner the main therapeutic approaches (clinical reasoning, evaluation and therapeutic practice) in safety and ergonomics regarding the scope of the osteo-muscular-articular disorders
Assessment criteria: They will be indicated by the teacher at the beginning of the course
Course unit contents: The epistemological foundations
"Therapeutic practice" Systems and movement system; Development of the interpretative models of the body.
Pain and "therapeutic" relationship
Elements of the system: physiology and physiopathology of tissues
Rheological properties of soft tissues and their adaptation.
Characteristics, main dysfunctions and recovery mechanisms of the various tissues: muscular tissue, osteo-articular, fascial, nervous.
Relevant clinical conditions: trauma, conflict, hypomobility, instability, compensation.
