Syllabus
Prerequisites: Adult Learning, Continuing Education, and Lifelong Learning Theories.
Target skills and knowledge: At the end of the course the students will be able to:
1. Understand the history and practices that characterize the organizational development
2. Explain the nature of organizational change
3. Design and implement individual and group development interventions in organizations
4. Understand the impact of organizational development processes
5. Know how to work in a group in an effective and consistent way with the goal to be achieved
6. Manage power and make decisions in training practices
7. Promote authentic relationships in training situations
8. Know the methods and techniques for adult education and training
9. Reflect on their own performance in a critical and effective way for change
10.Manage reflexive processes and promoting reflective practices in training (online)
Examination methods: Those not attending or those who will only partially be able to attend will take the oral examination according to the established dates and the chapters of the books indicated in the bibliography. The questions will concern the learning outcomes 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 for a maximum score of 20/30.
The learning outcome 10 will be evaluated during online activities and corresponds to a value of 10/30, corresponding to 1/3 of the final grade.
The score obtained in the online activity (mandatory for all), involves the realization of three reflection activities and exactly:
1. Reflection on content: connecting knowledge and learning with Padlet - Group activities (Reflection on contents: connecting knowledge and sharing learning with Padlet)
2. Reflection on the process: reflection on action - Individual activity (Reflection on process: reflection on action)
3. Reflection on the process: reflection to implement future actions (Reflection on process: reflection for further action)
During the online activity students and students will have the opportunity to work in groups and activate peer evaluation processes.
Assessment criteria: The following criteria will be used to evaluate the oral exam of unaccompanied students:

1. Level of preparation
2. Expressive clarity and ability to synthesize
3. Relevance of the argumentation
4. Ability to develop critical thinking
5 Knowledge of the specific vocabulary of managing people in organizations and training. (learning objectives 1-8)

Attending students will have the opportunity to carry out practical tests and assignments during the course
Attending students will also have the opportunity to perform intermediate tests in the classroom, which will be evaluated as follows:

1. Presentation of oneself and of the working group through the use of creative arts (2/20) (result 6,7)
Criteria for evaluating personal presentation using creative methods:
• Adequacy of the lexicon
• Consistency of the images used with respect to the issues identified
• Involvement of participants during the presentation

2. Action research project (6/20) (result 2.3.4)
Criteria for the evaluation of the action research project for attending students:
• Purpose of the research
• Adequacy of the phases developed
• Depth of the exploration carried out
• Relevance of the collected data
• Completeness of the produced product
• Ability to work in a group
• Effectiveness of the methods and tools used for presentation

3. Individual written report on the presentation of the action research project (result 9)
Criteria for the evaluation of the reflective report for attending students:
• Depth of the treatment
• Depth of the level of discussion with respect to personal and product strengths and weaknesses
• Critical reflection level on the methods used

4. Written test 16 multiple choice questions on moodle quizzes to be realized during the last lesson in the classroom (2/20) (Results 1,2,8)
Criteria for the evaluation of the test
• correct answers
• completeness of the answers

5. Online activities (Result 10)
• Depth of the level of reflections with respect to the proposed issues
• Consistency and depth of connection with theoretical inputs
• Critical reflection level on the methods used

On the basis of the program actually carried out and of the needs emerging from the group of students, further evaluation dimensions will be defined that can be considered among the evaluation criteria of the path itself.

- Reflective practices to improve learning

Planned learning activities and teaching methods: During the course, students are asked to write reflexive papers in order to encourage reflection and self-directed learning.
The students are asked to complete four assignments and a micro-action research to present to the class.
Methods:
Discussion face to face and online forums, oral and written presentations, group works, individual study, in-class presentations.
