Syllabus
Prerequisites: Very good knowledge of the Spanish language
Target skills and knowledge: This course will provide theoretical and practical tools to explain the most relevant aspects of teaching Spanish, highlighting the greatest difficulties for Italian students.
The course includes the following knowledge and skills to be acquired:

1. Know the reference documents for teaching Spanish, the most frequent resources and teaching materials.
2. Know the theories, methodological approaches, teaching tools, and techniques for teaching Spanish.
3. Be able to encourage the development of students' language skills in different educational contexts.
4. Be able to recognize and solve effectively the most frequent difficulties for Italian language students when learning Spanish.
5. Be able to involve students through different classroom interaction strategies and group dynamics.
6. Be able to create and manage the didactic programming of a Spanish language course in a coherent and precise way.
Examination methods: The verification of knowledge and skills will take place through the presentation of a didactic programming based on a specific topic established by the teacher.
Non-attending students must contact the teacher at least one week before the exam.
Assessment criteria: The evaluation criteria of the acquired knowledge are the following:

1. Completeness of the acquired knowledge and pedagogical strategies.
2. Ability to use the main reference documents for teaching Spanish.
3. Ability to select the most adequate methodological approaches in different educational contexts and teaching techniques for the development of students' language skills.
4. Ability to apply teaching tools to solve effectively the most frequent difficulties for Italian students when learning Spanish.
5. Ability to create and manage the didactic programmation of a Spanish language course in a coherent and precise way.
