Syllabus
Prerequisites: This course is taught in Evora (Portugal) – It is reserved for students enrolled in the International Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in “Techniques, Patrimoine, Territoires de l’Industrie" (TPTI)
Examination methods: The exam takes the form of continuous assessment during the seminars, with a final report.

Course unit contents: Topics of the historiography of mining industry and of the mining workers and communities in Contemporary History, which will be explored through the analysis of some ‘historical cases’ based on selected academic literature.
