Syllabus
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge on Developmental Psychology
Target skills and knowledge: 1. To introduce the theories and research practices of developmental psychology.
2. To practice on research and applications in typical and atypical developmental psychology
Examination methods: The exam will be oral with discussion on possible future applications
Assessment criteria: The student will be evaluated on the basis of the final mark to the oral exam plus the evaluation of the presentation/discussions given by the students in the class
Course unit contents: This course is structured as a research laboratory with Applied Exercise. In this course students will have the opportunity to expand on the topics covered in class by Professor Eloisa Valenza: Early markers of atypical development
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: We will visit different labs on campus to learn more about the methods and issues of developmental psychology.
Additional notes about suggested reading: Scientific papers, essays and video will be suggested.
