Syllabus
Prerequisites: No pre-requisites are needed.
Target skills and knowledge: The first part of this laboratory provides the student with the principles underlying plants’ behaviour and cognition. The second part will provide the students with knowledge regarding the methodological instruments to investigate plants’ cognition through the three dimensional analysis of movement. Such experience will allow the student to operate within work settings concerned with environmental and ecological psychology.
Examination methods: Projects discussion will be the tool preferably used to verify the level of knowledge acquired by the students.
Assessment criteria: The evaluation procedures will be characterized by laboratory activities and in the acquired level ability to use the tools for the study of plants’ cognition and behaviour.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods: During the lectures the students will be introduced to the topics of interest. The laboratory experience will be focused on the data acquisition and analysis of plants’ movement.
