Syllabus
Prerequisites: Knowledge of basic concepts of cognitive psychology
Target skills and knowledge: Knowledge of the role of cognitive psychology in clinical settings
Knowledge of the cognitive, metacognitive and emotional mechanisms underlying developmental and learning disabilities
Knowledge of the main procedures of assessment and intervention
Ability to plan a treatment from the diagnosis
Examination methods: Written examination consisting of 5 open-ended questions, each scored on 6-points scale (0-6). The exam lasts 1 hour.
The final score is the sum of the scores obtained in each question.
In the case of particularly rich and well-argued answers, "30 cum laude" is attributed.

For foreign -international- students, there will be the possibility to take the exam in English. These students will have to contact via email the teacher three weeks (at least) before the exam
Assessment criteria: The following elements will contribute to a positive evaluation:
- correctness of knowledge on assessment and treatment procedures in cognitive clinical psychology,
- ability to distinguish between differetnt disorders,
- argumentative accuracy
- terminological appropriateness

Treatment procedures in cognitive clinical psychology
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Frontal lectures and practical activites on the use of the tests for the assessment and treatment procedures, case work.
