Prerequisites: No specific prerequisites are required
Target skills and knowledge: The course aims to present some working methodologies related to the interactionist paradigms.
Students will be guided in the analysis of interventions and actions aimed at change, in the areas of counseling, psychotherapy and some territorial services (Community for Drug Users, Social Services, Services for school integration, Juvenile Court, Mediation Services, etc.).

Consequently, we propose to:
a) Developing skills in the analysis of linguistic, semiotic and discursive aspects
(b) Developing the skills to detect need analysis, mandate and identification of change objectives
c) Developing patient skills in managing critical situations
d) Identify intervention strategies in clinical health psychology and psychotherapy
Examination methods: The examination is written (open-ended questions) and does not include any additions.
The examination can also be taken in English (part of the bibliography is available in English).
Assessment criteria: The evaluation of responses to open-ended questions will be based on three indicators:

1) Relevance of the answers to the questions
2) Consistency and argumentative proficiency
3) Quality of the personal reworking of the various knowledge acquired during the course.
Course unit contents: 1) Epistemological and theoretical assumptions
2) Methodologies and practices of qualitative research in the clinical field
3) The analysis of linguistic acts and discourse in the clinic
4) The methodology of textual data analysis (Madit)
5) Eating disorders in the interactionist perspective: clinical and experiential situations.
6) Territorial services and clinical psychology
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: The course foresees an alternation between theoretical and operative parts. Clinical situations will be proposed and testimonials from experts in the field. Students will be invited to take part in the lessons in a way thatactive and critical, including through in-depth thematic studies managed by them.
There is no obligatory frequency.
