Syllabus
Prerequisites: Curiosity, pleasure and awareness of the need to achieve the right practices of research and professional actions, for himself/herself and for others, in social, work and communication psychology.
Target skills and knowledge: Starting from a reflection on the ethical themes, the course aims to provide the necessary knowledge of the considered topics, and of the Deontological Code of the italian Psychologists and of the Ethics of Research Code.
Students will acquire the knowledge and the ability to understand the ethical and deontological aspects in research activities and in psychological intervention.
Examination methods: Written examination with 4 open questions to answer in an hour and a half.
During the exam it is possible to consult the Codes.
Assessment criteria: The preparation and assessment of students will based on mastery of ethical and deontological principles and values in psychology, as well as on their ability to critically analyze the problematic professional situations and/or ethical dilemmas.

The digitalization of the profession and of web-mediated psychological intervention
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: The lectures aim to explore the issues proposed and will be complemented by discussion, in-depth analyses, and possible debates with professionals in the field of psychology, law, medicine, and journalism, in an interdisciplinary perspective.
Research and professional intervention cases will be presented. Students' active partecipation will be greatly appreciated.
Any supplementary activities (further literature analysis, individual and or group work, workshop) will be arranged during the course, according to individual needs and interests.
Additional notes about suggested reading: The teaching material presentedin class (slides, articles, law, ...) will be available online in Moodle platform of Psychology School.
