Syllabus
Prerequisites: Knowledge gained from methodological disciplines.
Target skills and knowledge: The course aims to provide students with the theoretical and methodological knowledge concerning the use of tests in organizational settings. Topics about the choice of tests and the evaluation of their metric properties will be addressed. Moreover, the course aims to provide students with the skills that are needed for critically analyzing and evaluating the functioning of the tests, and to promote the attainment of transversal skills, such as interpersonal and communication skills.
Examination methods: Written exam with short answers and multiple choice theoretical questions, and statistical exercises which assess the ability to compute and interpret statistical procedures. It is allowed to use a formulary during the exam. Books and slides are not allowed.
Assessment criteria: Theoretical and methodological knowledge about the use of tests in organizations will be evaluated, as well as the capability to define, apply and interpret appropriate statistical procedures for the evaluation of metric properties of tests.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Frontal lessons, exercises, group works.
