Syllabus
Prerequisites: PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE METHODOLOGY IN REHABILITATION (Main lecture held in English 3 ECTS):
English language skill B1 level, according to Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFRL), for main lecture.

LEADERSHIP METHODOLOGY IN REHABILITATION (integrative lecture held in Italian* 3 ECTS):
Basics of the National Health Service’s organization.
Basics of Veneto Regional Health Service’s organization and of Local Health Units’ Organization in Veneto.
Being able to understand and learn.
Having independent judgment.
Having communication skills.
Target skills and knowledge: At the end of the course the student will acquire the following skills:
Knowledge and comprehension:
the student will be able to understand and gain knowledge about the processes in the cultural history of work organization, science, education and rehabilitation.
Applying knowledge and understanding:
the student will be able to develop methods and tools for the professional practice, in relation to the management, education and research in Rehabilitation.
Making judgements:
The student will be able to choose the best methods and work processes in rehabilitation, in reference to the context and resources available.
Communication skills:
The student will be able to communicate in different working groups and also in international contests.
Learning skills:
The student will be able to contribute to the methodological process necessary for enhancing the knowledge of the discipline.
Examination methods: Interview
Assessment criteria: The student will carry out a series of learning checks during the course.
He will also eventually have to demonstrate that he has achieved the learning objectives by supporting a "mediated assessment" which consists in discussing the contents of a reading chosen by the same student and agreed with the teacher.
The final score will dipend on the results of the different learning checks.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods: PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE METHODOLOGY IN REHABILITATION (Main lecture held in English 3 ECTS):
The teaching method is based on three phases:
1. Introduction, held by the teacher, on historical and cultural perspective of each field and definition of the PBL setting;
2. workshops in small groups;
3. Reflections and building of the knowledge and skills.
The teaching method is based on social-cultural constructivism theories, according to Vygotsky, and the cooperative learning and problem-based learning.

LEADERSHIP METHODOLOGY IN REHABILITATION (integrative lecture held in Italian* 3 ECTS):
Lectures: presentation in the classroom, by the teacher, using multimedia tools and paper reports.
Interactive lessons: classroom discussion (guided and encouraged by the teacher) on topics exposed.
Simulations: collective work and/or in small groups, with activities of analysis, synthesis and development of innovative situations/solutions.
Home study: self-learning for in-depth examination of auxiliary arguments.
Additional notes about suggested reading: Students will be informed during the first lesson by the teacher
*For foreign students It is possible to agree with the head teacher an alternative course of study in English of the lectures held in Italian
