Syllabus
Prerequisites: The prerequisites for the course are the basic concepts of differential calculus and thermodynamics acquired by the student in the degree courses such as Mathematical Analysis and Physics and especially Applied Thermodynamics.
Target skills and knowledge: The course on Environmental Control Techniques for engineering was born from the need to deepen themes concerning the built environment and aims to provide (in addition to the basic concepts of Applied Thermodynamics already imparted in previous courses) the design tools, favoring a mainly application approach, related to the issues of air conditioning, air quality, the behavior of structures and environmental acoustics.
Examination methods: The student can choose between the "traditional" oral exam or a work on a specific topic to be discussed orally by means of a PowerPoint presentation.
