Syllabus
Prerequisites: Knowledge of private law.
Target skills and knowledge: Handling the basic legal aspects concerning doing international business: international law of contracts (in particular: sale of assets and shares), international and EU company law, EU insolvency law.
The first part shall deal with the international and EU company law; the second part with the international sale, the third part with EU insolvency law.
Examination methods: Written test
Assessment criteria: Handling the legal aspects of the business law in the international context and the correct legal wording.
Course unit contents: The goal is to teach students appropriate legal tools in order to grasp a general knowledge about some of the legal aspects of carrying out business activities in both national and international contexts.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Contracts and other course materials shall be distributed to students in order to afford them an effective contact with the international legal practice.
Additional notes about suggested reading: Papers, articles, etc. shall be uploaded on Moodle during the lessons
