Prerequisites: The purpose of this course is to offer an up-to-date and rigorous presentation of modern industrial organisation by blending theories with real-world applications and by deriving implications for firm strategy and competition policy.
Target skills and knowledge: At the end of the course students are expected to be able to:
- analyse theoretical models of strategic interaction in markets.
- apply game theoretic concepts to models of firm decision making.
- formulate theoretical models that capture assumptions made.
