Syllabus
Prerequisites: The basic knoweledges from the high school programm.
Target skills and knowledge: The student will learn new techniques on linear algebra and geometry which will be essential on his university studies on architectural engineering
Examination methods: written and possibly oral.
Assessment criteria: We will evaluate how the student will master the new tools of linear algebra and geometry introduced in the course via specific exercises.
Course unit contents: Vector spaces, matrices and diagonalization. linear systems and
metrics. Simmetric matrices. Two and three dimensional geometry: distance between subvarieties.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: class lectures and exercises in class.
Additional notes about suggested reading: A reference book will be indicated.
