Syllabus
Prerequisites: Knowledge about theories and methodologies in developmental and social psychology is useful
Target skills and knowledge: Within a contextual approach, students will acquire knowledge about (i) the main theoterical models of social development, (ii) classic and recent models of the development of children's and adolescents' social skills and adjustment. Moreover, students will acquire knowledge about intragroup dynamics, such as productivity, social influence and decision making, and about intergroup relations, considering the most important theories that explain conflict, reconciliation and cooperation among groups.
Examination methods: The exam is written, with open-ended questions. The exam is unique, with questions about both module A and module B and it lasts 90 minutes.
Assessment criteria: Assessment will consider: content of the answers, synthesis, clarity and coherence
