Syllabus
Prerequisites: The course requires basic knowledge of first year courses.
Target skills and knowledge: The course of Clinical Psychology is intended to provide an introductory overview of the various areas of clinical psychology: psychopathology, psychodiagnostic, psychosomatic, health psychology, clinical psychophysology, clinical neuropsychology, clinical interview, psychotherapy , counseling as well as mentions on clinical research methods.
Examination methods: 1. Written computer test with multiple choice questions on the topic of the reference text (Clinical Psychology). Students will find on www.mulino.it/aulaweb information on how to access the site, register and perform similar exercises to the exam.
2. Participating in practical activities (exclusively during the active course period) and evaluation of the paper that is mandatory for all the students.
3. Participation in online activities (exclusively during the active course period).
Assessment criteria: 1. The student is required to deliver at least 15 days before the written examination (on-line or in print) a relative paper to one of the chosen texts. The paper consists of up to 10 pages (font 12 interline 1.5)
2. The score required to pass the examination on the computer ranges from a minimum of 18 to a maximum of 30 points.
3. The evaluation of participation in online activities and/or the evaluation of the paper provides a score of 0 to 5 points, to be added to the score obtained in the written exam.
4. The assignment of “ cum laude” is reserved for those who have obtained at least a sum of 33.

2. The assessment in clinical psychology.
3. Psychodiagnostic methods
4. Interventions in Clinical Psychology.
5. Analysis of some clinical cases
6. Characteristics of different types of psychotherapy
7. Evaluation of the outcomes in psychotherapy: the evidence-based approach
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: 1. Self-assessment evaluation (multiple response, true / false)
2. Analyzing and discussing articles on forum
3. Analysis and discussion of clinical cases proposed in the forum.
