Syllabus
Prerequisites: Organic chemistry, Biochemistry and Plant biology
Target skills and knowledge: The aim of the course is to convey to the students the basic knowledge of plant biochemistry and physiology, through lectures and lab activities.
Examination methods: Final written test at the end of the course, or oral exam.
Assessment criteria: Final grade will be based on the number of right answers in the written test.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: The student will acquire knowledge in plant fundamental metabolic processes, in order to understand the biological mechanisms influencing plant growth, adaptation and response to environmental cues.
Additional notes about suggested reading: Students will be provided with handouts and pdf files of teaching material.
