Prerequisites: * Analysis I
* 30 credits
* principles of analysis of functions of multiple variabels
Target skills and knowledge: * Knowledge of the basic laws of static and slowly varying electromagnetic fields
* Knowledge of the basic laws of mechanical and electromagnetic waves
* Knowledge of some of the basic laws of the theory of special relativity and quantum mechanics
* Ability to solve in a quantitative way simple problems
* Ability to report critically on the laboratory experiences
Examination methods: * Written exam and possibly colloquium. Mandatory colloquium for marks above 28 in the written exam. Test graded on 30. Test consists of:
* 1 problem on electromagnetic fields
