Syllabus
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of Roman history and Latin
Target skills and knowledge: The student is supposed to acquire a good expertise in reading and explaining legal and political documents, and a good mastery of some of the chief essays of the epigraphical scholarship.
Examination methods: Oral exams
Assessment criteria: Knowledge of the main topics covered in class and during individual study.
Course unit contents: The course, after having dealt with history, tools and methods of Latin epigraphy, will focus on reading and explaining legal and political documents.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: MANDATORY ATTENDANCE; IN THE PRESENCE OF SERIOUS REASONS, THE TEACHER WILL CONCEDE AN INDIVIDUAL PROGRAM
