Syllabus
Prerequisites: Elementary notions of general, clinical and social psychology
Target skills and knowledge: At the end of the course, students should acquire knowledge relative to the following topics: a) problems and roles of forensic psychologist; b) methods of forensic psychological assessment; c) evaluation of social and juridical consequences of cognitive loss
Examination methods: Oral examination
Assessment criteria: Development of the technical abilities to the goals of the application of the psychology in the juridical contexts
Course unit contents: Aim of this course is to offer to the students some knowledge both in the teoretical aspects of interaction between law and psychology and in the practical problems of psychologits as expert witness. Main contents are: a) neuroscientific approach to normative judgment in law and justice; b) psychology in criminal proceedings; c) psychology in civil proceedings
