Syllabus
Prerequisites: The course requirements concern basic knowledge of organizational design and human resource management.
Target skills and knowledge: The aim of the course is to provide students with concepts and tools for the analysis of the organizational structures of knowledge intensive firms and for the management of cprofessionals who work in those organizational contexts.
Examination methods: Final written exam + group assignment
Assessment criteria: The final written exam consists of open questions and a case study analysis.
Grup assignments required to solve a case study.
Course unit contents: 1. Basic concept of organizational design
2. Organizational structures of the knowledge intensive firms
3. New organizational forms (holacracy)
