Target skills and knowledge: For the course of Communication and didactic mediation in cooperative contexts 4 CFU + 1 CFU of laboratory (prof.ssa Marina De Rossi)
Course 4 CFU
1) Knowledge of the characteristics of communication in the classroom; processes of development of communicative competence in the first cycle of education.
2) Knowledge and critical understanding of the methodological foundations of classroom communication; the classroom as a learning community.
3) Classroom interaction; dialogical approach; narrative approach.
4) Identity traits of Cooperative Learning; the role of the teacher; social competences and roles in the group;
5) Knowledge of the main cooperative techniques.
Examination methods: Structure of the profit verification:
- for the course of Communication and didactic mediation in cooperative contexts (prof.ssa Marina De Rossi) the verification of profit consists of open questions aimed at detecting the acquisition of the proposed contents and case analysis skills;
- for the course of Didactics of the Italian L2 (prof. Matteo Santipolo) the verification of profit is oral.
Assessment criteria: For the test of the course of Communication and didactic mediation in operative contexts (prof.ssa Marina De Rossi) the knowledge and understanding of the contents, the level of personal and reflexive re-elaboration, the orthographic correctness and the morpho-syntactic correctness will be taken into consideration.
The evaluation of the written examination (80%) will be integrated with weighting to the evaluation of the laboratory (20%).

For the course of Didactics of Italian L2 (Prof. Matteo Santipolo) will be evaluated the theoretical competence acquired and the ability to solve real and concrete problems.

The final evaluation will be carried out in an overall form, based on the integration of the results achieved:
(a) in the two written tests, one for each course, carried out at the end of the training unit;
(c) through products developed individually or in groups during the course of laboratory activities.
Course unit contents: The training itinerary of the teaching Communication and didactic mediation in cooperative contexts (prof.ssa Marina De Rossi) is organized around the following modules:

Module 1: Orality as a communicative and cognitive tool; communicative competence.

Module 2. Communication, thought and language; cooperating to improve communication; dialogical approach and narrative approach.

Module 3: The class as a learning community; the collaborative approach; Cooperative Learning models; main cooperative techniques.

Module 4: Laboratory of cooperative methods and techniques.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Communication and didactic mediation in operative contexts (prof.ssa De Rossi)
The methodological structure of the training intervention aims to provide students with critical knowledge and tools for an active and cooperative didactic approach and for the development of methodologies oriented to the development of communicative skills. Materials proposed for lessons and study texts aim to develop reflection on the methodological question still open and the subject of scientific research.
The lessons will be conducted in a frontal, dialogical and interactive way and, to promote understanding, materials and didactic examples will be used.
Additional notes about suggested reading: For both subjects, additional study or work materials (short essays or articles, slides, etc.) will be provided or indicated during the course.
