Brief description of the degree course
Caratteristiche e finalità:
Il Corso offre una solida formazione nell'ambito disciplinare della Sociologia, con una particolare attenzione alla dimensione metodologica. Gli studenti svilupperanno, da un lato, la sensibilità e le competenze proprie della sociologia, interagendo anche con le altre competenze presenti nei differenti ambiti disciplinari e professionali, dall'altro, acquisiranno dimestichezza con le varie tecniche, qualitative e quantitative, che caratterizzano il metodo di analisi sociologico. La laurea in Scienze Sociologiche è fortemente orientata in senso multidisciplinare, in modo da consentire agli studenti di completare criticamente la loro preparazione con conoscenze e competenze di altre discipline.

Ambiti occupazionali
Il laureato in Scienze Sociologiche accede al mondo del lavoro inserendosi in: Aziende private; Enti pubblici locali e nazionali; Asl, Associazioni non profit e della cooperazione sociale; Uffici di relazione con il pubblico e comunicazione; Uffici di ricerca, programmazione e pianificazione dei servizi sociali e delle politiche pubbliche; Uffici di gestione del personale, formazione, selezione e mediazione culturale; Istituti di ricerca di mercato e Agenzie di sondaggio di opinione; Istituti di ricerca sociale con compiti esecutivi e con responsabilità nella raccolta ed elaborazione di dati.
Le competenze acquisite costituiscono la base di un'eventuale specializzazione, mediante l'accesso a lauree magistrali di carattere sociologico.

Il corso dà accesso al corso di laurea magistrale interclasse in Culture, Formazione e Società Globale, secondo le modalità che saranno indicate nello specifico avviso di ammissione.
