Target skills and knowledge:

At the end of the course, the student knows the main phenomena related to the free and guided propagation of electromagnetic waves and their interaction with different material means. Subsequently he acquires the basic knowledge on the effect of non-ionizing radiations on biological tissues, on the measurement techniques of e.m. fields at the various frequencies and on the current regulatory. |

Final evaluation based on 2 homeworks, one written and an optional oral examination. |
