Syllabus
Prerequisites: No prerequisite.
Target skills and knowledge: The course is aimed at providing participants with the methods and skills to design, implement and manage overtime an environmental management system (both in private and public sectors), measure the environmental performance over the life cycle o products and identify the most suitable tools for the environmental certification of products and organizations.
Examination methods: Written exam and possible oral intergration to be agreed
Assessment criteria: Evaluation 30th each question and final grade including the results of each question.
Course unit contents: The course presents the different environmental management tools available to organizations (public and private) as a demonstration of its commitment to improving environmental performance, giving the two different approaches (system and product), and guiding the choice of different tools depending on of their potential.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: The teaching consists of lectures with theoretical presentation and case studies.
The learning modalities consist in the study and personal reflection of the slides of the teacher and any other supplementary teaching materials delivered by the teacher during the course of the lessons.
