Syllabus
Prerequisites: None
Target skills and knowledge: Assuming knowledge on different network tipology and topology, peer-to-peer and client/server networks - Learning the main features of client and server operative systems. Knowing the utility and structure of Clouding Computing and virtualization. Be aware of the main software threats against informatics systems, types of viruses, malware and spyware. Assume knowledge upon the fundamental elements of design and creation od a database or a datawarehouse. Being able to distinguish among the data analysis instruments and to know BI, DSS, CRM and ERP different software.
Assessment criteria: create logical connections between different concepts and skills in formulating correct solutions to issues concerning the organization and management of IT systems.
Flexibility and adaptation to resolve consulting situations relevant the world of IT technologies.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: frontal lessons in classroom with projection from PC of simulation and demo cases on the issues of technical nature.
Additional notes about suggested reading: The study materials consist of slides converted to pdf format, case study in form of files and other materials upon arguments treated during lessons that will be made available to students through the e-learning platform.
