Syllabus
Prerequisites: No specific prerequisites are required.
Target skills and knowledge: To connect theoretical economic and entrepreneurial models to economic facts of the twentieth century
Examination methods: Written exam (open questions).
Assessment criteria: Students have to critically know and grasp the twentieth century main economic facts and cultures.
Course unit contents: The following are the main topics developed during the course: industrialization and growth during the early 900; expansion and crisis during the early decades; the Great Depression; the 60's economic boom; the second globalization; Italian economic policy during the 1970s and 1980s.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Qualitative and quantitative variables representing economic culture will be analyzed.
Additional notes about suggested reading: Non-attending students must prepare the exam on the below textbooks.
Attending students can substitute part of below texts with articles that will be suggested during the course.
Non-attending Erasmus students can prepare the exame on a specific textbook.
