Syllabus
Prerequisites: No specific prerequisites are required.
Target skills and knowledge: To connect theoretical economic and entrepreneurial models to economic facts of the twentieth century
Examination methods: Written exam (open questions).
Assessment criteria: Students must critically know and grasp the twentieth century main economic facts and culture.
Course unit contents: The following are the main topics developed during the course: industrialization and growth during the early 900; expansion and crisis during the early decades; the Great Depression; the 60's economic boom; current resources and pollution problems, economic globalization and the 2007 financial and economic crisis.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Qualitative and quantitative variables representing economic culture will be analyzed.
Additional notes about suggested reading: Non-attending students must prepare the exam on the below book.
Attending students can substitute part of the below textbook with other articles that will be suggested.
