Brief description of the degree course
Caratteristiche e finalità
Il corso fornisce conoscenze avanzate riferibili al settore agro-zootecnico e forma capacità professionali adeguate allo svolgimento di attività complesse di indirizzo, progettazione e coordinamento in scenari economici, sociali, ambientali ed etici in rapida evoluzione. Il corso fornisce gli elementi formativi e conoscitivi che consentono al laureato di inserirsi nel mercato del lavoro e di operare con autonomia, competenza e capacità critica nel valutare, progettare e gestire azioni volte a: innovare le tecniche di allevamento valutandone gli impatti economici a livello aziendale e territoriale; armonizzare i sistemi agro-zootecnici con le esigenze di protezione e salvaguardia delle risorse ambientali e di tutela della biodiversità; valorizzare le produzioni animali nelle filiere agroalimentari (qualità di prodotto, di processo e tracciabilita').

Ambiti occupazionali
L'attività del laureato magistrale si svolge nelle aziende che collegano le fasi di acquisizione delle materie prime, allevamento degli animali, conservazione, trasformazione e commercializzazione dei prodotti di origine animale, compresa la grande distribuzione, nelle organizzazioni di categoria e nelle associazioni di produttori. Inoltre, il laureato magistrale opera in Enti pubblici e privati che conducono attività di pianificazione, analisi, controllo e certificazione, nonché in quelli che svolgono indagini scientifiche per la tutela e la valorizzazione delle produzioni alimentari e dell'ambiente, negli enti di formazione e negli uffici studi. Il laureato magistrale avrà specifiche competenze per sostenere l'esame di abilitazione all'esercizio della libera professione di dottore agronomo.
