Syllabus
Prerequisites: Mathematical knowledge from secondary school.
Target skills and knowledge: The aim of this course consists in a revisitation of some contents in primary school mathematics from an upper point of view, via a rigorous treatment which pays attention to historical and foundational aspects.
Examination methods: Written exam with theoretical and practical open questions.
Assessment criteria: It is evaluated the comprehension of concepts and the skill of present them with a rigorous, but non specialist, language.
Course unit contents: Sets, relations, functions and numerical structures.
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Frontal lessons, exercise lessons and tutoring
