Syllabus
Target skills and knowledge: The course will give to the Student the structural and formal control of the building through lessons and through the definition of a specific project.
The basic contents and building techniques will be explained togheter with the issues relating to all the different technological aspects in the construction process , including innovative ones.
The course is aimed at giving students the tools necessary to develop by themselves the architectural design also in the environmental architectural field. In this perspective, the course will analyze the components of bio-architecture together with the traditional ones, explaining the specific techniques and mutual relations.
With exercises and laboratory students will have the opportunity to experiment with the help and support provided by the teacher and his design practice .
The aim of this didactic process is to give a complete experience of the method, oriented to knowledge and understanding of the typological and technological building organism in relation to the physical, environmental and productive issues.The skills that will be developed are: autonomy of judgment, communication skills and learning skills.

Course unit contents: The course aims: To acquire the notions allowing to produce a project where formal and structural aspect contribute to the realization of a construction object with a significant image.
To acquire a proper control of the building detail to get the necessary construction quality, with particular reference to innovation and technological and environmental evolution.
To get a proper methodological setting through the typological, technological and structural parametres, so to allow an ultimate and executive planning adequate to the Law in force, in particulare with reference to the site construction phases of the work.
