Syllabus
Prerequisites: It is required knowledge in the field of drowing.
Target skills and knowledge: The course aims to provide the tools for the structural and formal control of the building through the drawing up of a basic project. Such training-disciplinary path will provide an exhaustive methodology, aimed to the knowledge of the main construction techniques, to the understanding of the typological characters and to the employment of technological innovation.
the skills that the student is expected to acquire are the following: autonomy of judgment, communication skills and learning ability
Course unit contents: The role of the engineer in relation to the building architecture. The Building Process. The Building System. Articulation of Building System in the following systems: Technological, Environmental, Functional and Spatial. The Technological System: Structure; Exterior building enclosure; Interior building partitions. From Functional Layers to technological solutions. Notes on technology services. The significant
parameters for the analysis of Environmental and Functional-Spatial Systems.
