Syllabus
Target skills and knowledge: The course aims to the acquisition of the basic notions of the theory of information and the architecture of computers, the practical knowledge of the use of the computer and some of the most popular information tools supporting personal productivity, such as the Matlab/Octave environment. The main numerical algorithms for the solution to engineering problems will be also explored.
