Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites.
The course is held in French (few are the indications in Italian).
It is organized in two parts; the first, common to all, involves 42 hours, and aims to reach 6 credits, the second aims to achieve 9 credits, for a total of 63 hours.

Non-attending students should study the text program included on Moodle at the beginning of the course (March 2020).

Target skills and knowledge: - interact with a French speaker on topics related to everyday life in writing and oral.
- understand a written / oral text of specific topics.
- express one's own considerations on a specific topic, with sufficient syntactical correctness and appropriate vocabulary.
Examination methods: The test consists of a written test with closed and open questions. The syntactic, vocabulary and written and oral comprehension skills will be assessed with three different tasks:
- written comprehension starting from written documents;
- oral comprehension starting from audio documents;
- written production with exercises, documents to complete and simple texts to write.

The test concerning 6 teaching credits will be shorter

No written or networked material / internet is authorized for the test.
Assessment criteria: The assessment of the student's skills will be based on the acquisition and use of the proposed linguistic tools and on the ability to apply them in specific reference contexts.
Course unit contents: The course aims to develop communication and comprehension skills up to the levels A1 / A2 / B1 (Cadre Européen Commun). After completing the course, the student must be able to read and understand texts and simple everyday situations and write short texts, expressing his opinion on a general topic. He will also have to be able to exchange simple information of daily use with a French speaker.

- the characterization of people and objects

- the forms of politeness, oral / written communication, telephone, Internet.
- the expression of the prohibition and the recommendation
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Lectures and oral and written exercises.
Participation at a concrete project of:
- organization of a guided tour;
- active participation at the guided tour.
Additional notes about suggested reading: We will work with a textbook communicated on Moodle and with material published on Moodle.
It is recommended to use a grammar book. If you don't have one, I recommend the one mentioned in the bibliography
