Syllabus
Prerequisites: There is no prerequisite needed, aside from a strong commitment in using the Italian vocabulary rather frequently.
Target skills and knowledge: This Course keen to provide the basics of Italian Constitutional and Administrative Law.
A proper knowledge and understanding of our institutional structure and of our Constitutional rights is the target.
The course will be mostly focussing on the fundamental legal instruments, and will devote its last part to a critical overview of Fundamental rights, deriving either from Constitutional or International Law.
Examination methods: Oral exam
Assessment criteria: Basic knowledge of the regulatory framework is needed. A critical study is required for a top-grade mark.
Course unit contents: Italian Constitutional and administrative Law, and some hints from other Constitutional Systems and from the jurisprudence of the U.S. Supreme Court.
