Syllabus
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of Physics, Biophysics, Biochemistry and Anatomy.
Target skills and knowledge: The goal is to make the student able to understand the basic functionning mechanisms of the human body in physiologic conditions, and of the homeostatic mechanisms that allow regulation and adaptation of organ activity to the environmental requirements.
Examination methods: Oral assessment.
Assessment criteria: Students should demonstrate to know the basic physiological mechanisms and to understand their relationships.
Course unit contents: General Physiology
Neurophysiology
Physiology of oral cavity
Planned learning activities and teaching methods: Traditional lectures.
Practical exercises in the classroom and at the Hospital.
Additional notes about suggested reading: It is necessary to refer to a textbooks, besides lesson shorthands.
