Syllabus
Prerequisites:
Target skills and knowledge:: The Course introduce the student to the complex pathologic phenomena. At the end of the course the student should be able to understand that, 1) the state of a disease is a consequence of the interaction between internal and/or external causes and the relulation mechanisms of the organism; 2) the onset of the homeostatis may amplify the process of the disease; 3) clinical and anatomical examples will be used to explain crucial pathologic mechanisms.
Course unit contents: Lessons will point out on the following subjects:
1) Introduction to general pathology.
2) Cellular pathology.
3) Tissue response to lesions.
4) Organism response to lesions.
5) Tumors.
6) Biological agents.

Teaching methods: The course will be carried out as follows:
1) lectures (56 hours);
2) Evaluation tests (4 hours);

Assessment criteria: Sixty multiple choice selected by a list of 200 questions, selezionate da un elenco di 200 domande condordate durante il ciclo delle lezione. In 60 minuti: A, Rispondere a 45 domande su 60 e B, Discutere l’immagine da preparato istopatologico.
